OUR STORY

Stone Cold Meats was built on experience, values, and a clear purpose.

Founded in 2018 by Sean and Ami Stone, our first location opened in League City, Texas. What started as a single neighborhood butcher shop quickly grew into something more—driven by a commitment to quality, transparency, and community.

In 2021, we expanded with a second location in Cypress, followed by our third location in Conroe in September of 2024.

But the foundation has remained the same:

Do things the right way, or don’t do them at all.

WHERE IT STARTED

Sean Stone didn’t set out to become a butcher—but the industry found him early.

At 16 years old, he worked in small butcher shops in Illinois, learning from owners who not only cared about their craft, but also their communities. That foundation stuck.

Years later, after gaining nearly two decades of experience—including time managing meat markets for a large corporation—he reached a turning point.

Corporate policies required perfectly good, unsold meat to be discarded. That didn’t sit right.

So Sean and Ami made the decision to build something different—something rooted in quality, integrity, and community responsibility.

Stone Cold Meats was born from that decision.
