But what if you love a good burger and want to tame some of that FIRE? 🔥

HOW TO COOL IT DOWN?

🥑 Avocado or Guacamole: Creamy avocado helps balance the heat without overpowering the burger.

🥛 Ranch or Sour Cream: Add a generous dollop of ranch, sour cream or a creamy cilantro-lime sauce.

🧀 Extra Cheese: Add a slice of mild cheese for another layer of creamy goodness.

🥬 Lettuce, Tomato & Pickles: Fresh, crisp toppings add contrast to the intense spice.

🍞 Don't Skip the Bun! A soft brioche bun helps balance each bite. Add plenty of creamy toppings!

🥭 Sweeten the Heat: Try mango salsa or a little pineapple slaw for a sweet contrast to the Ghost Pepper.

🔥 COOKING INDOORS? READ THIS FIRST!

⚠️ Ghost peppers contain capsaicin, which can become airborne in cooking fumes and irritate your eyes, nose and throat.

✅ Ventilate! Turn on your range hood that vents outdoors and open windows when possible.

✅ Keep the Heat Moderate. Use medium heat rather than an extremely hot skillet. Avoid burning or heavily charring the peppers and seasonings.

✅ Avoid Smoke. If the burger starts smoking heavily or the fumes irritate you, turn off the heat and move away until the air clears.

✅ Wash Up! Wash hands, utensils and surfaces thoroughly after handling raw burgers. Avoid touching your face or eyes.

✅ Cook to 160°F Internal Temperature. Use a meat thermometer to ensure your ground beef burger is fully cooked.

👻 OUR RECOMMENDATION: If you're sensitive to spicy cooking fumes, cook these burgers outdoors on the grill instead!
